About us
I always enjoyed working with sheep. At one time, we owned Dorset & Suffolk sheep. Then moved off the farm so we sold them. In 1999, I had the opportunity to obtain some Sheep. There was a pair of Katahdins, among them. The pair went back to Birch Cove. I really liked how they did, soon I was selling off the other sheep and replacing them with ewes from Birch cove....That is how I fell in love with this great breed of sheep. I am a small operation, but I want to try to produce the most efficient animals possible. I have shown this sheep at fairs, including MO State Fair. My sheep have taken top honors...But I am mostly trying to produce meat at least cost possible. I have lambs, breeding stock & market lambs for sale from time to time.
